Some item's will have to have a signature. If that is not possible... you can either waive that on the specific shippers website or choose not to buy this item. That is to protect us both.
If an item is returned back to me with a refusal to sign... I will take all necessary actions in order to recooperate any losses. IE... you will be charged for shipping. I am aware that shippers state refusal to sign... and you know if it happens to you often. Make OTHER arrangements... forward to neighbor or hold at post office. This has to be done from USPS website. I will only ship to verified addresses in paypal.

New: could be factory sealed or could be opened to take photos... anything new will not be powered up or charged or tested. It will be insured and I usually pay for the insurance.

Used: items will be fully functional or noted otherwise. If it is missing any parts or includes extra parts... this will be noted. Sometime stock photo's are used and not actual photo's. This is to save me time. Generally, I try to take actual photo's... if not it will be noted and you are free to request actual pictures. The item will be throughly cleaned and tested. If you require specialized testing... please request before bidding or buying. These items will have scratches, scuffs and not be 100% perfect. It's used.

Refurbished: items I restore myself. Generally these items are disassembled, dust blown out, detailed clean and reassembled. They function 100% like new and if not... it will be noted what doesn't work. Parts that I have replaced will be noted if they are not factory OEM parts. I stand behind my refurbs 100% and offer 30 day returns. Do NOT send anything back without contacting me first.

Parts Only: just for parts. what is broken will be noted... if known. I don't know how to fix everything... and an item very well could have an easy fix... if I can't get it to work and function as intended... then this is where I'll list. This is not garbage... some of the items here cost many thousands of dollars new.

Charitiy: the proceeds from items listed for charity will pay for eBay fee's, paypal fee's and shipping fee's... the remainder will go to the charity. All of it. I keep detailed sales histories and can produce these on demand along with the canceled check. This information is emailed to all buyers after the check has been deposited by the charity.
