The Standard Alphabet for Traffic Control Devices was prepared by the FHWA (Federal Highway Administration) for signing and marking all streets, highways, bike routes, trails and other by-ways open to public travel.  Furthermore, this alphabet can be used for parking lots, sidewalks, vertical curb faces, and numerous Industrial/Retail applications.
These Pavement Marking Stencils meet MUTCD specifications, and conform to the FHWA Standard Alphabets for Traffic Control Devices (Series B).  Simply choose a Letter or Number, and choose from our wide selection of sizes, ranging from 3 to 48 inches.  Size is based on height of the letter 'A.'  These Stencils are Laser-Guided, Machine-Cut, Durable, Reusable 9-mil PET Mylar. This .009 inch Mylar sheet is an economical, yet sturdy Medium-Grade material, and can attain a great degree of detail, yielding crisp, precise lines and curves.  (In other words, if you are kind to this stencil, it will be kind to you.)  Registration Marks are also cut into the stencil for proper alignment and spacing, all within FHWA guidelines.  Letters in Sizes 36 inch and 48 inch get additional bridges (See Listing Pics).
With narrow, yet tall letters, these Series B Pavement Markings are extremely visible to all drivers and pedestrians, while not taking up too much room in potentially confined areas.
