this auction is for a killer sound quality combo with rare parts. both units have been refurbished with warranties.
first off is the mcintosh mx406 cd player and it
comes with the dc/dc converter, harness, and trim pieces
it has been refurbished which includes any caps that need to be replaced,
the whole cd mechanism is gone through with a new laser and any other parts and it is all lubed as well.
the dc/dc converter has been recapped and resoldered.
the second item is the mcintosh mpmp4000 with the trim pieces and it has had all new bulbs installed and
this comes with the RARE side mounting brackets to mount both together and as you can see it looks
awesome! i sold a set of these brackets for 300.00 before. both items have warranties and you have all 4 silver pieces.
the cage is there to lift the unit up. it is not included as you don't need it.
the trim pieces on the meter are glued on tightly and the ones on the unit need to be glued as well since all 4 corners
are not on the radio.
this is one of the best looking combos ever made in car audio and it has an american tuner!
these all need refurbishing since they are up to 27 years old.
